In 1968, my grandfather, Colonel Connell Albertine, published a book called "The Yankee Doughboy". It can be read on line now. He was in the 26th Yankee Division of World War I. Library of Congress Card Catalog Number 67-23441. It is a good read. Many pictures at the end of the book. There is a full page of helmet insignias of the units of the 26th Division. This is a very good website.
