It reminds me of something George McKenzie of Co. K, 101st Inf, 26 YD told me...(he was 102 at the time).  Paraphrasing, he said  &quot;...we brought our YD patches to Cootie Mary and she sewed them on when we first got them in France.  She was doing our sewing and repairs over there&quot;.  
You can imagine how she got that name handling all uniforms.]]></description>
