		<description><![CDATA[My grandfather fought at the battle of Vittorio Veneto, in 1918 - when he was 18 years old, himself.   

Our family is in  he process of translating his letters; and I have the picture of St. Christopher he carried in a bag around his neck.  It&#039;s practically dissolved, but I&#039;ll keep it forever.  And at the end of it all, all he was given was a suit and a pat on the back.]]></description>
