He was Italian fighting for the American Army as a mechanic.
His name was Antonio Visconti.
He received a Purple Heart and several other commendations upon honorable discharge. I look forward to learning more about our history.

My great uncle, William Heyman received this medal which I have now framed along with the letter from Pres. Nixon. How can I find out my uncle’s military history? I don’t know much except his medal says, “France” on the ribbon.
