		<description><![CDATA[I enjoyed looking through your site.  I think that the reference to &quot;Hooverizing&quot; is meant to mean the Food Administration and its leader, Herbert Hoover.  This makes more sense in the context of the letter from 12/21/1917 where Sam reports Lena is &quot;Hoverizing&quot; on food stuffs and he too is &quot;econimizing&quot; on paper.  A quick look at the Wiki article on Hoover reveals that his detractors, at least, referred to his economy drive as &quot;Hooverizing&quot;.

Have you been to France or thought of visiting the sites where Sam served?  We had a wonderful trip last fall visiting the places where family members served with the 26th Division.
